These lovely wooden hat stands immediately reminded me of the heyday of department store shopping, when passing by and looking in the window was the best form of advertising.

These lovely display stands were used to show the latest fashion in millinery! Each one has just the right amount of patina. They are all various forms of pink. Some with a shabby chic flakey paint, one a bit darker and one perfectly pink with the name of the Paris dept. store, “Au Bon Marche”, stamped on the bottom.
