Antique French Ironstone Serving Bowl — Moulin des Loups & Hamage, France Nord, circa 1928–1944

A genuinely rare find — an antique French ironstone footed pedestal cake stand (présentoir à gâteau) from Saint-Amand et Hamage Nord, one of northern France's most celebrated faience factories.  They were used at the center of formal French bourgeois tables to display cakes, tarts, fruit, and confections with the kind of elegance only the French can pull off. The "Société Anonyme" designation and the blue transferware colorway date this piece to approximately 1896–1928.

This is 9" in diameter and is in great condition except for a chip on the underside (see photo)
