Vintage Parisian Souvenir Jewelry Box, c. 1890-1900 - Lyon, #20

This is an amazing collection of ormolu* jewelry boxes from the 1890-1900s, meant as souvenirs for visitors.
There are 19 in all! Each one has a drawing of a Paris landmark on the lid (except a few from Lyon and Strasbourg). I see one of these occasionally, but rarely with the Paris landmarks. Some are in better shape than others (I mean, they are 130 years old.) Some are larger (up to 5.75") and some are very small (2"). Some have little cushion in the bottom or mirrors in the lid. Many have very rare, thick beveled glass sides. Please email with any questions. All ship free and insured.

#20 - The fountain at Place Jacobin in Lyon - This one has a bit of bending metal (very common with ormolu). The pillow is in remarkably good condition for it’s age. The beveled side glass is amazing and interior lid is a gold-leaf-like material. Some of the same material on the bottom has torn off also.
